Dovobet is a topical treatment for psoriasis, a common skin disorder. It comes as a gel and ointment, and contains two active ingredients; betamethasone, an anti-inflammatory steroid of moderate potency, and calcipotriol, a synthetic derivative of calcitriol, a type of vitamin D. There are 500 micrograms (mcg) of betamethasone and 50 mcg of calcipotriol per 1 gram (g) of Dovobet.
